How do you find the surface area of a sphere?

To find the surface area, use this sphere surface area formula:

Sphere
Surface Area = 4 x Pi(3.1416) x Radius^{2}

Example:
The surface area of a sphere with a radius of length 3
inches:

Sphere Surface Area = 4 x 3.1416 x
3^{2}

Calculated out this gives a surface area of
113.0976 Square Inches.
